Entrepreneurs Group (E Group)

Are you feeling overwhelmed with your business issues?

Do you find yourself attending endless workshops/webinars or talking to family and friends to solve your problems?

Do you wonder how other businesses are coping with the impact of working remotely?

Even with savvy business partners, excellent managers, and key employees to help you, it can be daunting to run your business. How much time and money are you spending to find the help you need?

E Group offers a unique opportunity for joining a peer support group. We started our first group in 2006 – entrepreneurs have benefited ever since.

2020 and Beyond…

Running a business has never been more challenging and confusing as the recent past. Currently, finding and retaining talent adds another dimension of stress. We developed our Entrepreneurs Group to address these challenges. We have a track record of successful entrepreneurs since 2006.

All of our business owners are weathering the storm and found our groups a critical reason for the ability to sustain their businesses during a time when failure rates are rising.

Two-and-a-half-hour sessions on Zoom with an additional one hour of one-to-one coaching provide a confidential and supportive forum for problem-solving, accountability, and feedback.

Our Entrepreneurs Groups meet on Zoom!

What does that mean for you?

We are not limited by “zip codes” in our groups anymore! We have members coast-to-coast!

What are E Groups?

E Group is structured such that you are spending time with like-minded professionals looking to improve themselves and their businesses.  Business challenges come to light in a safe, confidential environment and problem-solving techniques are used to provide objective feedback.

~ Brandy Harrington, Certified Financial Planner

E Groups are small, facilitated peer advisory groups for entrepreneurs and business owners facing the challenges of being in business. Each E Group is a confidential, private advisory board where one can share ideas, solve problems, provide goal setting/accountability, and support for one another.

Because E Groups consist of non-competitive business owners, each member sees issues from their own professional perspective. The attorney, the accountant, the tech, or the marketing professional will provide unique, rich, and specific feedback based on their field of expertise. This is more effective than asking family, friends, or employees who may be well-intentioned but have opinions based on limited experience.

The Process

Morale increases, as does effective problem-solving. They are better able to cope with changes as they take ownership in the process. Trust in the group and a feeling of importance help members be more efficient and productive.

Goal Setting

You Control The Success of Your Business

Achieve the goals you set through a methodology that delivers results.

Research recently conducted in a study by psychology professor Dr. Gail Matthews shows that people who wrote down their goals, shared this information with a friend, and sent weekly updates to that friend were on average 33% more successful in accomplishing their stated goals than those who merely formulated goals. “My study provides empirical evidence for the effectiveness of three coaching tools: accountability, commitment, and writing down one’s goals,” Matthews said.

Accountability

Your Actions to Achieve Success

As a business owner, you need to hold yourself accountable for the actions you take to achieve success.

Functioning as part of a peer group helps individuals feel empowered to participate and share their successes and struggles in business. Members hold each other accountable to their goals, celebrate successes and support each other during times of difficulty. Overall, members gain increased satisfaction in their businesses and improved quality of life.

Problem Solving

Turning Adversity into Success

Every business owner faces challenges. It’s what you do with these challenges, and how you face them, that determines your success. Entrepreneurs often don’t feel anyone can master tasks the way they can, so they pile the burden on their own shoulders and slowly sink under the weight. They feel like a hamster running on a wheel, expending great sums of energy to just keep up. They don’t delegate—they inundate and unfortunately, can’t extricate from the mire they’ve created. Isolation sets in as they often don’t have the discretionary income to afford all the help they need in their business.

Engaging in Entrepreneurs Group is a powerful process where a business owner walks away with resources, ideas, and knowledge enabling them to make an informed decision or create a strategic plan to solve their problem.

From an E Group Client

The E Group and coaching from Michael and Mary were hugely helpful to me. At that time I was in process of starting a group private practice after ten years as a psychotherapist in my own solo private practice. The E Group entrepreneurs gave me wonderful ideas and resources and helped me look at issues I hadn’t thought to consider. Michael and Mary asked questions that were probing, clarifying, and insightful, and they kept me accountable with their coaching. And here’s the result: the group practice began with five therapists and grew to ten therapists in the first year – and made money!  I highly recommend the E Group experience.
